The Elite Camp is quickly approaching!!
Below is all the important information you need to know regarding the camp. Please read thoroughly. If we have not answered all your questions here please email us at info@sulaxcamps.com
Check in:
1:00am-1:00pm THURSDAY JULY 29th at SHAW HALL DORMITORY
Camp begins immediately at 1:15pm. Please be prompt and on time so as to not miss out on any of the events.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS (to Shaw Hall/dorm check-in)
From I-81 north or south, take Adams St. east to the end. Turn right on Ostrom. At the first light, turn right on Euclid. Shaw Hall is on the right.
Housing:
Campers will be staying and dining at Shaw Hall Dormitory.
The dormitory is located approximately 1 mile from the fields we are using. All campers will be shuttled to and from the fields on university buses, they are not allowed to transport themselves.
All lacrosse will be played at Hookway Grass Field Complex, which is located approximately ¼ mile down East Colvin Drive from Manley Field House.
Directions to Hookway Fields:
From Shaw Hall, go south down Comstock Ave. and take a left at Manley Field House onto East Colvin. Go about1/2 mile down E. Colvin. Hookway Fields will be on your left.
What to Bring:
1. Lacrosse Stick
2. Goggles
3. Mouth guard
4. Athletic Footwear (All games will be played on grass fields)
5. Toiletries
6. Shower Sandals
7. Bedding (twin size beds)
8. Water/Snacks: Camp store will be available until 9pm nightly with Syracuse gear, snacks and drinks for sale
9. Fan (the dorms are NOT air conditioned)
10. Athletic Clothing
11. Rain Gear
MISCELLANEOUS NOTE:¨**The Elite Lacrosse Camp Staff will be hosting a Talent Show the night of July 31st for campers wishing to participate. Winner will be awarded a prize!
Sports Medicine Staff will be on premise both day and night in order to assist any camper.
Gatorade and Water will be provided at each field throughout the duration of the camp
Paperwork:
*All campers need to have submitted COMPLETE paperwork in order to be eligible to participate. This includes a copy of their health insurance, as well as immunization dates as requested in the Syracuse University Health Form.
If you have already submitted paperwork and it was found to be incomplete, you would have been contacted by a Syracuse Lacrosse Representative (via the email address given when registered online at sulaxcamps.com) or by your primary contact phone number.
To check the Status of your payment and forms:
1. Go to www.sulaxcamps.com
2. On the top right corner click the tab “PAY BALANCE”
3. Username is the parent contact email given during initial online registration
4. Password is the 8 digit code given in the receipt email sent after having registered via the sulaxcamps.com website

Please note: Health forms are accepted via hard copy only, as we need parent/legal guardian signatures on them.

**DO NOT MAIL PAPERWORK. The University mail system is sometimes slow receiving mail. If you mail the paperwork, and it does not arrive prior to the start of camp- camper will not be eligible to participate.
**Roommate request forms received after 11:30pm Sunday July 25th will not be guaranteed.
Payment:
Final payment of fees is due at check in on July 29th. If paying by at check in, please bring a check payable to Gary Gait Inc.
If you would like to pay by credit card:
1. Go to www.sulaxcamps.com
2. Click the “PAY BALANCE” tab at the top right corner
3. Username: the email address provided for parent contact during initial online registration
4. Password: 8 digit code given in automatic email received to email address provided upon completion of initial online registration.
Check Out:
Sunday August 1st 1:00pm – 3:00pm at Shaw Hall.
Each Camper will be responsible for cleaning their own dorm room.
In order to check out each camper’s room will be checked by a Syracuse Lacrosse Representative.
Campers are responsible for handing in keys prior to leaving the dorm on the 1st.
All missing keys will be billed to the respective camper.
Spectators:
We welcome all parents and spectators to come cheer on their favorite campers throughout the duration of camp.
COMMUTERS:
All of this information applies. Please check in and out of Shaw Hall. You are to be dropped off every morning at Shaw Hall no later than 8am to meet up with your group and group counselor. You are to be picked up at 9pm nightly at Shaw Hall, after having let your counselor know your ride has arrived.
Commuters are provided LUNCH AND DINNER. Please arrive at camp having already ate breakfast.
